ELECTION ANNOUNCEMENT:  (vote link below)

The CFSNA Board has approved a revision to the CFSNA Bylaws and it is now available for your review and approval vote as a member of CFSNA.

 The main change being made allows the Treasurer to serve with no term limit. 
The Board decided that having better continuity in this position and limiting the requirements for changing the CFSNA accounts would be in the best interest of the organization. 

There is also a change that removes the identification of the regions from the bylaws and moves the process to an operating procedure. 

This allows the Board to review the membership distribution annually and make any required changes to either the boundaries of the regions or the number of regions without having to process a change to the bylaws. 

This will streamline the process. The last change adds the allowance for notification to the membership of the AGM to be done via email and not just via a post in the Nessie. 
This allows notifications to be given between the mailings of our 3 seasonal Nessies. 
Please review the attached marked up copy of the Bylaws and if you agree follow the instructions to vote for approval.
